Resurrection of Love

If my love was equal to dollars

You would be in no more debt

Me, you, the love, and the music

Together create a lovely quartet

I yearn the chance to show you

Just how happy you can be

Imagine the world has fallen away

All that’s left is you and me

The heat between us causing steam,

No need to see you while I dream

Awaking yet to see you there

More memories to make and share

A second chance to set things straight

I swear for me, it’s not too late

I taste the remnants of your kiss

Left upon my lips to miss

Breathe life into our sleeping past

Let’s make a love that’s built to last.
