The Story Of My Life

Do you remember

That dream

You got lost in

One night?

You were gazing

Toward the dawn,

The wrens were

Singing..

Sun bright

Emerald green

Meadows

Yawned

As daylight

Materialized

Brazen fawns

Imbibing streams

As nature sounds

Soliloquized

And

Tranquility

Engaged you;

A tête-à-tête

So clear and cogent

Beckoned you to

Linger; frozen

For one

Never-ending

Moment

The calm breezes

Kissed you

Caressed

And cleansed

Your troubled

Mind

Your surroundings

Can’t resist you

Imploring

You stay

Stuck

In time

And then

From out of nowhere

A cloud descends

From sky

To ground

And you lay upon it;

Resting

Serenity

Feels

So profound

Suddenly;

Your soul

Is

Reposed

And forever

Seems so

Sure

Slumber tugs

At you

So sweetly

With its

Fresh breath

Of

Allure..

Wait..

That sound;

It’s so familiar..

A cacophony

Of noise..

By the

Second,

It gets

Clearer..

While it

Constantly

Annoys..

That’s the

Sound

Of your

Alarm clock

And the dream

Has faded..

Finished.

Stretch this

Out

Across

A

Lifetime..

And it’s

My life

You

Have

Witnessed.
