The Path To Paradise
As I walk down this obscure path
The two of us, me and my thoughts
I ponder on the future
of my journey;
Will I walk down this opaque road
in solitude eternally
or will I give in to
reluctant yearning?
Sometimes I need a strong embrace
some token of assurance to
remind me that my body does exist
Other days, I find such peace
seeing one set of footsteps
so, when love comes my direction
I resist.
My life, it seems; a partial map
The states I've been; so clear to see
My destination; blanched and evanesced.
When I look back, my lucid past
Perspicuously lined with change
Has led me to refinement
with each test...
The lessons I have yet to learn
Distant in the horizon still
I pray that they will teach me
what I need...
To share my life with someone else
or choose tranquility sublime...
The latter
likely how
I will
Proceed.
