Be Christlike.png

Thinking back, like I do, at times

Sifting through my recollection

Could be wrong,

But

Don’t think I am..

Where we lost our connection

So many years with you

So yea..

Was hurt from your rejection

Yet, with this road

I’m on with Yah

Need time for self-reflection

Sometimes I blame myself

That you

Went in the wrong direction

But you must take responsibility

For clinging to deception

“God has mercy, I can sin…”

A common misconception

You always longed to be

Different, though

So why share that perception?

None of us are perfect, no..

And I ain’t no exception

It’s not about mistakes you’ve made

It’s all about reception

The Holy Spirit moves through me

We speak to your protection

Tried Bible study 1,000 times

But always got objection

Yahweh is calling out to you

But your soul needs dissection

Examine yourself deep within..

Can you take introspection?

Not saying this to anger you

So, don’t need your aggression

Just hoping, praying

The man I knew

Will see a resurrection

Who you used to be..

Will he come back?

Now..

That’s the real question

I plead for you to

Yield to Yah

Let Him give you

Correction

Your journey to Him

Lengthens

As you’re chasing your

Erection

Redemption's in your

Future

If you cease your

Indiscretion

You want to make

The devil mad?

Give Yah

Sincere confession.

Your path was once

A smooth, straight line

Before you chose

Digression

I’m not certain

Where you became lost

In rebellious

Insurrection

Been a while since

We last talked..

Still

Striving for perfection?
