Respirer La Vie
There is nothing so difficult
To ponder
Than how beauty
Can disintegrate
Into nothingness
In the blink of an eye.
One day
We are
Breathing life
Into the soul of love;
Observing as its wings grow
And take flight into the stars of destiny;
Enjoying the scenery of the forest
Of young saplings of love
Growing into mature timber,
With vibrant and variegated
Foliage
Descending from the branches of
Fervor.
Watching
As the rains of heaven
Shower us with fortitude
And each hue in the rainbow that follows
Represents a sentiment we share.
And then a storm ensues.
Lightning strikes
In the form of
Conflict
Threaten our terrain of beauty.
A tornado of animosity
Estrangement
And resentment
Raid our garden of serenity
Leaving it unconscious
And frail.
We are left to conclude
How we will again
Breathe life into our now barren field
Of lost
Courage
And Broken Hearts.
How do we find our way
Through a maze of
Malady
And affliction
Created solely
By our lack of preservation
To our thriving oasis?
We shall call up to God
For the tools we need
To aerate the soil
To fertilize it with
Nutrients
And Resuscitate
Rejuvenate
Invigorate
Our allegiance
To our once
Flourishing
Fountain of love.
Take my hand, my love
And let us reconcile;
Uniting our spirits into one;
And we shall
inspirez et expirez
la vie dans notre
amour une fois de plus.
