L O V E    I S    B L I N D

You stabbed me

Repeatedly

Then watched me

Bleed

Then told me

You needed me

When I said I'd

Leave

I ached for you

With passion

Wading in your

Perfect lies

You showed me

No action

When you heard my

Pleas and cries

You pushed me

So violently

Into suicidal

Thoughts

As I lay there

Silently

My spirit tied

In knots

Calling out to

Elohim

To take me from;

And to you

And His face

Seldom seen

Because deep down

He really knew you

Each time He would

Save me

I'd run back to your

Mayhem

Enchantingly seduced;

Separated from my

Brainstem

Addicted to your

Sickness

Like a sweaty child

To shade

Like the poet in

Invictus

Yah still found me

Unafraid

To live in death,

Relentless;

Wearing sorrow

Like a pendant

I issued my own

Sentence

As the judge

And the defendant

My peril;

Snugly justified...

Tenacity abound

When I finally pay

Attention
You'll be nowhere

To be

Found.
