Can't Stop My Shine

Incarcerated

Chained and bound

Inside myself

My battleground

Confined  within;

Internally.

It took my Lord

to break me free.

I told myself

my jail was home...

And that my shade
Of Monochrome

was copacetic;

I'd be fine...

As long as I

claimed it as mine.

Then, I looked up

and heard a sound;

and I saw rainbows

So profound

My shades of grey

Vanished for good

Did what I never

thought I could...

Escaped from my

Captivity;

A New Rebirth;

Nativity.

Now I press on;

My steps, He'll guide

Across the trench,

The Great Divide;

That tries to separate me from

The Holy Spirit;

He has Won.

My soul, He holds

Eternally.

Satan will try...

But won't stop me.
