A Nu Dawn

She writes these words to you, Elohim,

A vision, imagined..

In real life; seldom seen..

The future she saw, still remains in a dream..

She's missing a member

Of her original team.

She once saw life

As a family

United;

Until the feelings of her heart

Went unrequited..

The demons interrupted;

So uninvited

And the vision she once had

Became far-sighted.

In the former times

His charms romance her;

Until he changed..

Now You enhance her

From two left feet

To brilliant dancer..

Yet

Still; she searches

For an answer..

Why does she feel so

Incomplete

Because of Love

So obsolete

She begged of You

A window seat..

A scenic view

Of life;

Your treat..

But what you gave:

A path; diverted

And all her plans were

Disconcerted

Familiarity; gone

Once she converted

A new world unravels..

The old;

Deserted

Her patience; thin

Forbearance; frail

Her fantasies

Have now set sail

Yet

Her faith still urges

Her exhale

For

Your Will

And faith in her

Prevail.
